President Buhari visited Borno State on Wednesday evening where he went to pay a condolence visit following the deadly attack on Sunday which left at least 30 people dead and several cars, houses and other property destroyed.
However, after the visit, a video has emerged, showing the moment residents of Borno State booed President Buhari and his entourage during their visit to the state.
In the video sighted by this news medium, as the President moved through town, the people shouted “Ba ma so, ba ma yi” in Hausa language which means “We don’t want, we are not interested,” in English.
The crowd booed President Buhari and other “Next Level” government officials as they waved their hands in rejection.
The president arrived Maiduguri after his arrival from Addis Ababa in Ethiopia. His spokesman, Garba Shehu said the visit to Borno followed the killing of 30 persons in Auno.
Boko Haram terrorists, who stormed the area at about 9:50 pm on Sunday, also destroyed about 18 vehicles and abducted some persons.
